Information on the personal data protection policy

I. The administrator of personal data obtained for purposes related to the organization and operation of is the Information Center for Foreigners based in Szczecin, Pl. Hołdu Pruskiego 8, email address: CIC.kontakt@szczecin.eu.

II. The administrator processes personal data only in cases of the consent of the data subject:

a. taking steps to conclude, perform or enforce a contract for the implementation of a public task called Carrying out activities to support foreigners residing in the City of Szczecin in the process of integration with the local community

b. fulfilling the Administrator’s obligations arising from legal provisions or performing tasks carried out in the public interest

c. protection of the vital interests of the data subject and the implementation of the legitimate interests of the Administrator or a third party, in particular related to the provision of consultancy and training services by the Administrator.

III. Providing data to the Administrator is, as a rule, voluntary. The data is not subject to automated decision making, including not profiling or being transferred outside the European Economic Area.

IV. Personal data is stored only for the necessary period to achieve the purpose for which they were obtained, i.e. the period covered by the consent granted and the period resulting from legal provisions.

V. Each person whose data has been obtained by the Administrator has the right to transparent and free of charge information and further communication regarding the processing of his data, access to such data, rectification and supplementation, demanding their removal or limitation of processing, bringing for reasons related to her particular situation of opposition to their processing and in any case the processing of her data for direct marketing purposes, not being subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, information on the category of possible recipients of her data, as well as the right to transfer her data and the right to withdraw consent in any at the moment, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that was carried out based on the consent given before its withdrawal.

VI. Personal data may be disclosed to recipients based on applicable law, in particular those regulating the protection of individuals’ data. As a rule, data can be entrusted for processing only to entities related to the Administrator legally binding instrument (contract), guaranteeing data security.

VII. The competent authority in matters of personal data protection in Poland is the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection, after amendments to national provisions on personal data protection, the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, address: ul.
