City Forests employees have made their own wooden bird feeders.
The feeders are intended to be given away to residents, but not exactly for free. It’s a exchange – bring a kilo of food or another bird goodie and then you’ll get a feeder to build yourself . The box also includes instructions on how to feed the birds in such a way as not to harm them.
The feeders can be picked up at the offices of the City Forests: at 3 Miodowa Street and at 63 Chernogorska Street until December 13 (Friday) from 9 am – 2 pm or until stocks run out.
Birds have a difficult time getting food in winter. Wise feeding of birds will result in the spring they will repay us with the bird song which we love so much.
