Szczecin Oktoberfest has become another traditional event in Szczecin. This year, for the fifth time, Aleja Kwiatowa invites all lovers of the beverage from all over Poland.
The second weekend of October will surely bring a large dose of humor, music and knowledge about the history of beer and its importance in the lives of the inhabitants of old Szczecin.
Oktobertefst in Szczecin is a celebration of kraft beer created by small manufactures, groups of friends or families. Regulars at the Szczecin edition of the event include Maltgarden Brewery, Witnica and Browar za Miastem. However, every year there is no shortage of newcomers to the event either. This year, for the first time, Browar Sady from near Poznań, Browar Świdnica, Kalea and Erl Bru Breweries and Browar Odrzański will come to Szczecin. As a newcomer, Szczecin’s Bespoke Brewery will also present its products.
During this year’s edition of the Szczecin Oktoberfest, it will also be possible to take a guided walk on a unique trail of historical curiosities related to beer and the city. The walk combined with a tasting will take place on October 6 and 7 at 4 p.m. Tickets for this event can be purchased at the Tourist Information Center at 20 Zolnierza Square.
